Use the information in the book to explain how Sue was discovered.  Then use the information to help you summarize the story, Dinosaur Sue.

1.  On page 18 the author says that paleontologists are like detectives.  How do paleontologists find the answers to their questions?  How do they know if their answers are correct?

2.  If you were a scientist who worked with fossils, which job would you rather do: hunt for fossils, clean and restore fossils, or examine fossils and develop new ideas about prehistoric times?  Why?

3.  Why is it important for fossils hunters to keep searching for fossils?  How does their work help us?
