1. Skim pages 14 and 15.  Compare the one-footed mollusks that are described there.  How does each mollusk use its foot?

2. What tide pool animal would you most like to see?  Tell why?

3. Sometimes when tourists visit a place, the place makes a big impression on them.  Would visiting a tide pool help people care more about protecting the sea animals?  Explain why or why not?

A Vacation in Words

Write a paragraph describing a beach or another place you have visited as a tourists.  Use describing words to tell about the place, so readers will feel like they were there with you.
